Hello students! My name is Professor Geekbeak, and today, I wish to draw attention to Xurkitree. Xurkitree is one of the few Ultra Beasts worth picking up, as it is one of the strongest non-mega Electric types, only recently power crept by Mega Raichu. So, it is still worth picking up. Course Schedule

This raid will take place from September 23rd to September 29th. It is preceded by Zamazenta and Mega Venusaur, coincides with Mega Malamar, Buzzwole, and Pheromosa, and followed by Mega Victreebel and Xerneas. Do note that Ultra Beasts are regional raids, with Xurkitree taking place in the Asia and Pacific region.

Electric types are famous for their one and only weakness to Ground type moves. However, be warned that Xurkitree can learn Power Whip, which is a grass type, and will hit those types hard.

Overall, Xurkitree is a simple raid. A mono electric type means that only Ground types are viable, and most of the time, Xurkitree will not be able to retaliate. Be wary of Power Whip though if you have particularly squishy Pokemon, as they might be taken out by that move.
